Breaking Of Bread

We gather as a local church, claiming the promise of the Lord Jesus
(Matthew 18:20) to be in our midst. The most significant meeting of the church is the one the Lord introduced before His death; He told His disciples to remember Him by partaking of bread and wine as symbols of His body and blood. Following the teaching of the Lord and the example of the Apostles, we meet weekly to remember the Lord Jesus and His death for us.

The first portion of the meeting is for worship and congregational singing. Without prearrangement, the meeting is open for men in the church fellowship to stand and lead the congregation in praise and worship of Christ for His person and work at the cross.

The worship is followed by the taking of the bread and the wine by members of the church. A brief Bible message and announcements of future activities concludes the meeting. Coffee and refreshments are served on the lower level from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m.
